Saddle Up Work Dates
We are looking for Volunteers to help get ready for the Saddle Up Event. We are having a work date of August 28th at 10 am.The first work date was a Great success.Thank you all. Any group needing community service is welcome and appreciated. There will be another Saddle Up Meeting on the 30th of August at 7 pm. Anyone who would like to donate tack to the Roswell tack sale,please email us. Thank you so much. Megan and Sue

Work Day for Saddle Up
The Work Day for Saddle Up was a great success! Thank you everyone who came! We will be adding Combined tests to the Saddle Up show for each level. Entry fee will be $25 Just write it in on the entry form. Remember you can download the prize list, Entry form, and Roswell forms( Raffle, Donation, and Sponsor Forms). Just click on CR Entry Forms and open and print. There will be awards for the most donations Jr and Sr. We have a class for virtual riders. You can pick any class, and name your horse. All you need to do is fill out a Sponsor form,put virtual rider at the top, and get pledges. There will be an award for this too. You can draw a picture of you and your horse.

Saddle Up for Roswell 2009
We are looking for Equestrian groups, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to help get ready for the event. We would love to have many riders participate. You will be able to go online and get sponsors. Please sign in and post a comment if you are interested. We are looking for volunteers to help get ready for Saddle Up for Roswell,a combined training event at Chestnut Ridge to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute. We need help on our work day with painting, staining,weed whacking,picking up stones, etc.Our work day is August the 8th from 9 am to 1pm. Many groups need to do community service, and we are hoping this will help them earn credit toward badges. Most importantly this will help make Saddle up a tremendous success. All of us on the Saddle up team would be so appreciative! With your help we are hoping to have a schooling day before the event. This would be free to all who volunteered of course. On the day before the event, we would like some volunteers to help in the afternoon (from 1 to 6). To help with decorating the jumps and grounds, and last minute preparations. On show day the 19th of September, we need volunteers to scribe for the judges (this would be a job for riders ,whom had a background in dressage). We also need jump judges(this is simply watching to make sure the riders went over the jumps, no halts and call for help if a rider fell). We need volunteers for the basket raffle,pony ride tickets,T shirt sales and ring crew for stadium jumping. Thank you again for your help Megan, Sue and the Saddle Up Team
